Country stars Martina McBride and Trace Adkins have joined forces to take their hit-country songs on the road in the 2009-2010 concert-touring season.

Two of country music’s superstars, Martina McBride and Trace Adkins, will team for a 40-city concert U.S. tour that will kick off Nov. 20, 2009, in Moline, Ill., and continue through early 2010.

Dubbed the Shine All Night Tour, the outing—which was announced Oct. 5—will feature co-headliners McBride and Atkins performing full-length shows. Additionally, according to concert organizers, country acts Blake Shelton and The Lost Trailers will join McBride in select cities to add to the concert’s fan experience.

Regarding the upcoming tour, McBride, in an Oct. 5 e-mail communication, remarked, "I want fans to leave here knowing they got more than their money's worth," says Martina. "My goal is to have this on their list of memorable nights for years to come."

"I think this tour is going to give people a lot more bang for their buck," Adkins said via a press statement. "And that's important —especially in today's economy."

The Kansas-born McBride is a four-time winner of the Country Music Association’s Female Vocalist of the Year trophy, as well as a Grammy winner, with more than 18 million in album sales to date, thanks to 23 top-10 singles, including six No. 1 songs.

McBride’s latest album, Shine, features her current single, I Just Call You Mine. However, many country fans first discovered McBride via her empowering and hope-laden songs directed toward women, including Independence Day, This One's for the Girls, Anyway and Ride, among others.

In addition to being a talented entertainer, record producer and songwriter, McBride is a wife and mom of three, She has been featured on the covers of national magazines such as Redbook and Shape, because of her beauty and fashion savvy, and heralded as one of music’s elite “divas” of song by VH-1’s televised VH-1’s Divas music performances, not to mention performances on Dancing with the Stars and American Idol, among other top-rated TV shows.

Tour partner Adkins, meanwhile, first came to the attention of country fans some 10-plus years ago, and since then, he’s become a member of the genre’s revered Grand Ole Opry and built a strong of hit-country songs that resonate with the masses, from Honky-Tonk Badonkadonk and Every Light in the House, to (This Ain't) No Thinkin' Thing and Ladies Love Country Boys.

With his distinct “basement-deep” vocals, the Louisiana native has accrued some 27 chart hits to date—with 14 of them breaking into the top 10 on Billboard’s country charts, including a trio of No. 1 singles.

Last year, Adkins hit a career peak by collecting a handful industry nominations from multiple music award shows including the CMA Awards and the Grammys for his contemplative, look-back ballad. You're Gonna Miss This, a song that landed Single of the Year honors from the Academy of Country Music.

Moreover, many TV viewers who weren't necessarily country fans were first introduced to Adkins when he became a semi-finalist on Donald Trump's first season of The Celebrity Apprentice. These days, however, the 6-foot, 6-inch singer is touring in support of All I Ask For Anymore, a ballad contained on his 10th CD for Capitol Nashville Records titled X.

Shine All Night Tour Boasts Interactive Web Site for Country Fans

The Shine All Night Tour will be sponsored by SunnyD, a company that produces juice-based drinks in North America and Europe, with additional backing from cable-TV’s Great American Country and BC Power, the latter of which is a product that offers temporary relief for discomfort associated with headaches, minor body aches and fever.

SunnyD's sponsorship of McBride's portion of the Shine All Night Tour represents SunnyD's first music partnership. McBride has been featured in the drink company’s television advertising and the company has also sponsored a contest in which the winner will be able to sing on stage with the country star.
